It’s that time of the year when it’s all about joy, feasts, gifts and holidays. As we wind up the year, merrymaking goes a notch up with Christmas celebrations before we enter the new year. As Christmas brings in the joy of Jesus’ birth, people celebrate that by offering prayer, serving feasts, exchanging gifts and lots of good food.

Indulge in these snacks and recipes for your Christmas party that will surely excite people of all ages. 

1. Gingerbread Cookies:

 Gingerboard cookies

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Keya Ginger Powder
  • 120 ml Milk
  • 1tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • Icing Sugar

 

Instructions:  

  1. Add flour, Keya ginger powder, baking powder & baking soda in a bowl.
  2. Mix well and strain in another container.
  3. Add milk and vanilla essence to the mix.
  4. Whisk it until the batter is formed.
  5. Add the mixture to cookie moulds or place scoops on a baking sheet.
  6. Put the sheet on the baking tray and add to the preheated oven. 
  7. Bake the cookies at 270 degrees Celsius for 25 mins.
  8. Dust Icing sugar on the freshly baked gingerbread cookies before serving.


2. Cinnamon Fruit Muffins

 Cinnamon Fruit Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Keya Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 100g Tutti Fruity Cherries
  • 50 ml Milk
  • Icing sugar

 

Instructions: 

  1. Add flour, and beaten eggs in a bowl.
  2. Add vanilla essence, clarified butter, and Keya cinnamon to the mix.
  3. Mix it well and let it stay for 30 mins at room temperature.
  4. Add tooti fruity mix to it and give it a good mix.
  5. Take muffin bowls and pour the batter in them.
  6. Preheat the oven at 350 degress Celsius for 10 mins. Add the muffin bowls to the tray and bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins.
  7. Dust icing sugar before serving.

 

3. Pizza Pockets:

Ingredients:

 

Instructions:

  1. Take a bowl, and add flour, baking soda, sugar, salt, and warm water to make a dough.
  2. Add olive oil to polish the dough.
  3. Take another bowl, add cheese, corn, jalapeno and mix well.
  4. Take a separate bowl, add Keya ketchup, Keya Pizza Chilli and Keya Pizza Oregano and mix well.
  5. Cut the dough into two parts, and roll the dough into sheets. Cut the sheet into small square pieces.
  6. Take one square piece, add ketchup mix, and cheese stuffing and cover with the other side.
  7. Finish the edges with a fork to close it in a pocket. Repeat steps 7 and 8 for all pieces.
  8. Add the pizza pockets to a baking sheet and bake them in the preheated oven at 170 degrees for 15 mins.



4. Cheeseburger Slider:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Mashed Potato
  • 1 tsp Keya Chilli Flakes
  • ½ tsp Keya Mixed Herbs
  • 2 pinch Keya black pepper
  • Keya Salt to taste
  • Grated Cheese
  • 100g Bread Crumbs
  • 25g all-purpose flour
  • 15g corn flour
  • 75ml Water
  • Lettuce, Sliced Tomato, Sliced Onion, Tomato Ketchup, 
  • Slider Burger Buns

 

Instructions: 

  1. Take mashed potatoes, chilli flakes, oregano, salt, bp, grated cheese, mixed herbs and mix well.
  2. Make small patties of the mixture.
  3. Take a bowl, add corn flour, and all-purpose flour and add water to make a slurry. Dip the patties in the slurry
  4. Coat each patty with bread crumbs and deep fry until crispy and golden brown.
  5. Take slider buns, spread ketchup on both sides, add lettuce and veggies on one side, add the patty and cover it.



5. Spicy Black Grape Shots

Ingredients:

 

Instructions: 

  1. Grind grapes and chaat masala together until fine juice.
  2. Take shot glasses, and coat the edges with Keya lemon juice and Keya Paprika powder.
  3. Pour juice and serve chilled.
